Minor: Spanish
City: Sevilla, Spain
University: Universidad de Sevilla
"It's all
of sudden really setting in that I am studying abroad for the semester as I
attempt to pack "lightly" for four months in Spain (it's impossible!)
I decided I wanted to finish my Spanish minor abroad because I really want to
become proficient in the language and I felt like the only way I could really
accomplish that was if I fully immersed myself in a Spanish culture. So here I
am, ready to embark on an exciting semester in the beautiful city of Sevilla! I
am a little nervous about all my classes being taught in another language but
I'm so lucky to have some of my sisters in Sevilla with me! Wish me luck, hasta
pronto!”

Minor: Spanish and German
City: Manheim, Germany
University: University of Manheim
“I arrived
January 6th to take part in a month long intensive German course called the
Winter Academy. So far, it has been a ton of fun getting to meet people from
all over the world and explore local breweries, castles, and nearby towns with
new friends. My first trip is this weekend to London, and after that I plan on
visiting my sisters in all of their different destinations. A group of us are
staying with Kira in Zurich for the Usher concert in March, which we all could
not be more excited for. I'm planning on spending my spring break in Spain with
sisters and then we're hoping to travel to Italy and Greece as well. I'm loving
my time in Germany so far and cannot wait for the other girls to get here for
the fun and sisterhood to continue across Europe!”

“I'm
studying at Pablo de Olavide in Seville, Spain for the semester where I will be
taking Spanish and business classes. I am so excited to travel and experience

also nervous about getting lost in all the big cities without a gps/cell
phone... But I know my wonderful sisters Nikki, Addie, and Lauren will be by my
side to get lost with me. We are going to have so much fun together! We are
already planning trips to places like Prague and Germany to visit all our other
sisters who are also traveling abroad which I'm sure will be amazing. We will
take lots of pictures I promise!”

Minor: Public Relations
City: Barcelona, Spain
University: Universidad Autonoma de
Barcelona
“I'm
studying at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain this
semester. I'm taking business classes in Finance and Management, as well as a
class in Public Relations. I'm already in love with the city and am really
looking forward to this semester. Even though the language barrier has been a
bit difficult at first, living with a host family has really helped improve my
Spanish and the authentic, home cooked meals are a plus too! I have already planned
a trip to Rome and Milan with friends I've met in my program. Also, I'm going to
Amsterdam and Switzerland with one of my sisters, Madison Yost! I want to
travel to as many places as possible and take full advantage of this
opportunity to study abroad in Europe. I love and miss you all so much!”

Major: Hospitality Management
City: Florence, Italy
University: Florence University of the
Arts
“This
semester I have been given an opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy where
I will be continuing my studies at the Florence University of the Arts. I will
be taking several classes to further my hospitality management major and
business minor studies as well as Italian and art history classes to advance my
knowledge of the Italian culture. As I get ready to leave next week, I am most
excited about immersing myself into a completely new and unfamiliar place that
will broaden my knowledge of the world. I can’t wait to further my love of art
by witnessing all the historic paintings, sculptures, and buildings that this
city holds. I am also excited to have the opportunity to travel around the rest
of Europe during my four month stay. One of my best friends and Tri Delt
sisters, Shelby Mixson, is currently abroad in the Netherlands. We are planning
to meet up in a number of cities during our time in Europe. I can’t wait to
tell all my sisters back home about my experience and perhaps will
even bring
them back a few souvenirs!”
Kira Speer
City: Zurich, Switzerland
University: Zurich University of Applied Science
“This
semester I will be studying finance at the Zürich University of Applied
Sciences (ZHAW) in Zürich, Switzerland! I am heading overseas at the beginning
of February and am very excited that I have Tri Delta sisters nearby in the
Czech Republic, Germany, and Spain! We have all already planned trips to see
each other and some of our sisters staying in Columbia this semester have plans
to make the trip over as well! I am also seriously looking forward to the Swiss
cheese and chocolate. I don’t speak any German, which I foresee being
difficult, but I am enrolled in an introductory German crash course that begins
during orientation week. I can’t believe it’s already time for our semester
overseas and I will miss all our Tri Delta sisters back home so much! Delta
Love!”

“I
will be spending this semester at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech

Columbia, I am headed to Prague in early February to begin classes. I have
never been to Eastern Europe before, so I am looking forward to exploring more
obscure destinations like Romania and Hungary. As an international business
